HOW IT ALL STARTED
There was an old battle worn U.S. Marine YardGuard™
on my tall fence post at the entrance to my driveway. It
had faithfully guarded my home and yard and still stood
proudly waving Old Glory. A Marine buddy of mine saw the Proud YardGuard™ and offered to refurbish him to his former glory. After several weeks of R&R the Marine YardGuard
™ returned to duty and stands proudly at attention once again on my post waving Old Glory and protecting my home.
As we both admired the YardGuard
™ standing at
attention with new paint and a new flag we discussed
what this YardGuard™ represented to each of us. Out of
this discussion came the idea to make many more YardGuards™ and sell them to any who was proud to display
our colors and honor the individuals that have served
our country.
After several months of marketing by word of mouth through family and friends there was an increase in
demand for these proud YardGuards™. We have taken
our marketing to the next level.
We want to do more then just provide YardGuards™ to all. So a percentage of our proceeds will be given to servicemen and women injured while on active duty.
